BASC: Top sporting artist paints BASC’s centenary print

Thursday, 10 Jul 2008 17:37
Britain’s foremost sporting artist Rodger McPhail has painted a wildfowling scene that sums up the spirit of the WAGBI/BASC centenary as the cover for the special centenary issue of Shooting & Conservation.

BASC has produced a strictly limited edition of 100 prints. These prints, which will be available to buy from 1 October, are individually signed and numbered by the artist and cost £75 each (unframed).

All proceeds will go towards the centenary appeal to raise funds for the new BASC communications centre.

An image of the print can be viewed through the BASC website: http://www.basc.org.uk/content/top_sporting_artist_paint. People can order a print by calling 01244 573027. Two framed copies of the print will be available to purchase at the CLA Game Fair.
