BASC: Hampshire youngsters to get a taste of countryside life

Wednesday, 18 Jun 2008 13:28
Hampshire youngsters will be able to find out more about the countryside at a special event being held in Portsmouth on Saturday 9 August.

The activity day, which has been organised for the British Association for Shooting and Conservation (BASC), will include lessons on fly fishing, air rifles, rabbit control and clay shooting activities.

BASC’s regional officer for the south east, Jenni Thompson, said: “These activity days are always really popular with children and we want to get as many youngsters as we can on the day so they can make new friends and have great fun learning about countryside activities.”

The activity day costs just £15 and application forms are available from: http://www.basc.org.uk/content/basc_south_east_diary.
