Diversified technology company, 3M is preparing to unveil the latest product in its range of Speedglas welding shields. The launch will take place at MACH 2008, held at the NEC, Birmingham, and is set to be one of the exhibition’s key attractions.
Built using world-class Swedish technology, the Speedglas range of shields is widely recognised as one of the best in the welding industry.
Be one of the first to see the new shield, visit us on Stand number 4578, Hall 4 at MACH 08.
Proof you can get high performance and high protection
Many welding and cutting procedures emit dangerous light radiation that can cause damage to the eyes. The Speedglas auto-darkening filters mean that the wearer maintains good vision while being protected from harmful ultraviolet and infrared radiation, but still provides constant visibility.
In addition to providing high levels of protection, comfort and visibility, 3M’s range of Speedglas welding shields eliminate the neck-strain caused by nod-down and increase the accuracy of electrode placement. This improves the quality of the weld, reducing the need for grinding and rework.
The introduction of the new shield demonstrates 3M’s commitment to the welding and manufacturing industries.
3M will have a significant presence at MACH 2008. As well as showcasing the new welding helmet the company will be demonstrating its vast range of abrasive products and new air-powered abrasive tool line.
