Welcome

Our vision is of a world in which blind and partially sighted people have the same rights, responsibilities and opportunities as everyone else.

We provide mobility and freedom to blind and partially sighted people, with the guide dog at the core. We also campaign for the rights of those with sight problems, educate the public about eye care and invest millions of pounds in eye disease research.

The guide dog service receives no statutory or government funding and we rely on the generosity of the public to continue or work.
