IFAW is one of the world’s leading international animal welfare organisations.

It is backed by two million supporters and staffed by more than 200 experienced campaigners, educators, internationally acclaimed scientists and legal and communications experts working from 17 offices in 16 countries.

IFAW works throughout the world to improve the welfare of wild and domestic animals by protecting wildlife habitats, reducing commercial exploitation and helping animals in distress.

The organisation seeks to motivate the public to prevent cruelty to animals and to promote animal welfare and conservation policies that advance the well being of both animals and people.

In the UK, IFAW campaigns on marine and wildlife trade issues and hunting with dogs, as well as carrying forward our international pet rescue and emergency relief campaigns.

Visit our website for more information about the work we do around the world.
