NHF: Peter Marsh, chief executive of the tenant services authority to address the national board members' conference and exhibition
Monday, 7 December 2009 12:00 AM
It has been confirmed that Peter Marsh, Chief Executive of the Tenant Services Authority will be addressing the National Housing Federation's National Board Members' Conference and Exhibition, 5 - 7 February, International Convention Centre (ICC), Birmingham.
The Tenant Services Authority set the scene for a new world of social housing regulation back in November where tenants are at the very heart of decisions about their homes and how services are delivered by their landlords.
This new accountability and transparency will mean a new way of co-regulation for housing associations who will be expected to provide opportunities that involve and empower their tenants.
Peter Marsh has presented housing association boards with a late opportunity to discuss these fundamental changes in the way associations operate before he implements his strategy in April.
The National Board Members' Conference and Exhibition is the largest gathering of housing association board members and provides a unique opportunity to collectively discuss the issues that are most important in leading their organisations.
Other confirmed speakers include:
David Orr, Chief Executive, National Housing Federation
Mathew Taylor, Chair, National Housing Federation
Clare Miller, Executive Director, Risk and Assurance,
Tenant Services Authority
