Monday, 20 February 2012 9:36 AM
The Leader’s Forum and Exhibition 2012, hosted by the National Housing Federation, will present and debate the latest ideas from experts to help housing chief executives and chairs meet the challenges posed by the difficult political climate.
Economist Andrew Sentance, Green Party leader Caroline Lucas MP and Shadow Health Secretary John Healey MP will be some of those attending the forum at London’s Victoria Park Plaza on 21-22 February 2012.
With breakout sessions and panel discussions on various topics affecting the social housing sector, the conference will also present delegates with valuable networking opportunities and an exhibition.
David Orr, National Housing Federation chief executive, said:
“The social housing sector has never lacked strong leadership. But with the Government’s significant changes in welfare, planning, health, social care and housing policy, we need to be bolder and better than ever.
“The experts and speakers taking part in the forum will provide crucial economic and political insight so that housing associations can continue delivering high-quality services to tenants and local communities.”
