NHF - Jon Sopel to speak at National Housing Federation's Conference

Presenter of the BBC Politics Show and BBC News 24, Jon Sopel, will be one of the keynote speakers at this year's National Housing Federation's Affordable Home Ownership and Intermediate Housing Conference and Exhibition at the Marriott City Centre Hotel, Bristol, on 3 - 4 November 2010.

Jon, voted Political Journalist of the Year in 2007 by the public affairs industry, will address the opening plenary on the impact of a coalition government and tight fiscal environment on the UK housing sector.

The conference provides an opportunity to discuss the hugely challenging conditions for the delivery of affordable housing. It will consider the key changes and issues ahead and explore ways in which the affordable home ownership sector can respond innovatively and effectively. It will include a number of workshops and breakout sessions. A range of issues will be covered including the implications of the Comprehensive Spending Review and best practice on managing service charges, leasehold relationships and the links between sales and development.
