Support Us

The Mayhew Animal Home rescues thousands of animals from cruelty and neglect each year. We provide shelter and care for cats, dogs, rabbits and when the need arises, for other animals who need our help.

We also offer a wide variety of community services providing advice, care and assistance to animals and their carers whatever their circumstances and strives to tackle the companion animal welfare crisis from every possible angle.

We couldn't provide our vital services without the people who support us. Please make a difference today by making a donation. Donations no matter how big or small, will help us to be there for more animals in need.

Our celebrities

The Mayhew Animal Home is very lucky to have the support of a growing number of celebrities who are Friends of the Home after becoming involved with us with the common desire to improve the lives of animals, either by adopting an animal or by joining to support our campaigns.

Actors Imelda Staunton, Jim Carter, Neil Morrissey, Jason Donovan and Joe McGann have all adopted Mayhew animals as have The Apprentice favourite, Margaret Mountford and renowned art critic Brian Sewell.

Other fantastic celebs such as Al Murray, Joanna Lumley, Andrew Sachs, Sue Jameson and Ricky Gervais have supported us by appearing at fundraising events such as our Mayhew Christmas Evening.
