Friday, 11 Jul 2008 16:43
Are you looking for a team building exercise? Why not enter a golf team to raise funds for a local disabilities charity?
On Friday 11th July 2008, The Disabilities Trust will hold our annual Sussex Corporate Golf Challenge at Singing Hills Golf Club in Albourne near Hurstpierpoint.
Hosted by Jimmy Hill OBE and kindly sponsored by Barclays and Kinsella Fitch, this prestigious all day event will help raise funds to provide vital care, rehabilitation and support for people with physical disabilities, autism and acquired brain injury throughout Sussex.
The day will begin with an introductory speech from Jimmy Hill over coffee and bacon rolls. After 18 holes of golf, participants will enjoy a splendid three course evening meal with wine and entertainment.
There will also be a raffle, auction and silent auction. Players are welcome to invite guests to attend the dinner.
The Disabilities Trust is now taking bookings for teams and four ball entry costs only £350. Team places for this increasingly popular event are allocated on a first come first served basis.
There are a number of fantastic sponsorship opportunities linked in with this event, providing companies with excellent regional exposure and media coverage.
If you are interested in participating in the 2008 Sussex Corporate Golf Challenge or if you would like to donate a prize to help us raise further funds to support people with complex disabilities, please contact Chris Gaskell on 01444 237263 or e-mail
