ESRC: Expert Directory - Now live

Tuesday, 10 November 2009 12:00 AM

As part of our aim to effectively provide the best contacts and resources for media enquiries, we have recently created an Expert Directory which is now available on ESRC Society Today.

ESRC directory

This directory will enable you to browse through different social science categories and view a variety of experts each specialising in slightly different areas. The directory also gives contact details, allowing you to quickly and efficiently find the right researcher for your enquiry. The directory so far comprises the directors of our programmes and centres, listed by the centre name/research title. Each listing includes a short biography of the director and a list of their research interests/expertise. Where applicable it also includes a link to the centres contact page and a link to the existing page on ESRC Society Today.

The directory is broken down into the following categories :- Public Services; Global Economic Performance, Policy and Management; Health and Wellbeing; Linguistics; Education; International Perspectives; Social Diversity and Population Dynamics; Understanding Individual Behaviour; Environment, Energy and Resilience; Sustainable Development; Retail/Lifestyle; Security, Conflict and Justice; Religion; Statistics and data resources; Elections and Voting patterns; Ageing and Third Sector.

This list is a working and living document and will be updated as necessary to provide the best possible resource for media queries.

Please note you can still pick up the phone or email and ask the press office for assistance, we are always happy to help.
