About us

Conservatives Against Fox Hunting ( also known as Blue Fox) was established in 2010. It's campaigns include supporting the ban on hunting with hounds, campaigning against the badger cull ( Blue Badger) and initiated the campaign in the House of Commons for a close season for hares. The group provides support and wildlife information resources to anti repeal Conservative MP's .

Conservatives Against Fox Hunting is a partner organisation in the Partnership for Action Against Wildlife Crime (PAW) It is also a member of the Associate Parliamentary Group For Animal Welfare( APGAW) in the House of Commons. It works in co operation with leading animal welfare organisations and it's Blue Badger drive is a member of Team Badger.

It's Founders organised and co hosted the first reception for hare protection in the House of Commons in June 2012 which was attended by 14 MP's. The EDM 2531 for a close season for hares was supported by over 144 MP's signatures.

Five events have been organised and hosted by Conservatives Against Fox Hunting for MP's since 2010- 2012, including Parliamentary receptions and fringe events with MP Speakers at the Conservative party conferences.

It's Co Founder recently won the International Fund For Animal Welfare's Campaigner Winner 2012 Award presented in October in a reception at the House of Lords. Visit www.conservativesagainstfoxhunting.com and www.bluebadger.org

Conservatives Against Fox Hunting launch the new Blue Hare website for a close season for hares. The organisation started campaigning for a close season for hares in May 2011 in the House Of Commons and charted the development of the campaign on the Blue Fox website. All future campaign updates for a close season for hares will now be reported on the Blue Hare website www.bluehare.org.uk
