BSIA exhibits at Home Office security event for the first time.

For the first time, the British Security Industry Association (BSIA) has exhibited at the Home Office Scientific Development Branch (HOSDB)'s premier security equipment event.

The event, which took place in Farnborough from 16th to 18th March, is the UK's only secure event for displaying the latest security equipment for law enforcement and public security and focuses on four key business areas including crime and policing, security and counter terrorism, identity management and border security.

The exhibition was held for police forces from the UK and worldwide including Chief Constables and their department representatives, as well as the emergency services and government departments such as the Home Office, prison service, customs and immigration services, government security and MoD departments. This year saw a substantial increase in the number of overseas visitors thanks to the involvement of UK Trade & Investment Defence and Security Organisation (UKTI DSO) who coordinated the international delegations.
