The BMF Tailend Show – It’s a Knock-Out!

Thursday, 4 August 2011 4:01 PM

Now in it’s second year at the Lincolnshire Showground, the BMF’s Tailend Show is shaping up to be a knock-out, not just for everyone attending but especially for the BMF clubs signing up for the clubs’ ‘knock-out’ games.

But this will be just part of a show that brings together bikes, entertainment, music and hundreds of bargains from a wide variety of traders, a show now made even better following feedback from last year’s event. A re-designed layout will improve access throughout the traders area and for campers, major improvements have been made to the camping areas, including more toilet and shower blocks and enhanced security fencing.

The much loved BMF Moped Enduro is back and once again the ACU will be running two rounds of their Championship grass track sidecar racing on a specially created circuit. The main arena meanwhile will feature the amazing skills of the Vander Brothers’ in their giant, 50ft high Double Wheel of Death Space Wheel, while back on the ground, the youngsters of the Imps Motorcycle Display Team will put on their precision show of stunts and tricks.

The BMF’s ‘Club Knockout’, with knock-out rounds on Saturday and the Grand Final on Sunday, follows on from its success at the BMF’s Kelso BikeFest and will feature popular club rally games such as Whelly Whanging, Dizzy Sticks and Tug O’ War.

As well as nearly 70 trade and club stands, including Hein Gericke and J&S, other attractions include the land-speed record seekers the Angelic Bulldog Project Team and the ever-popular Wall of Death.

While everyone’s welcome to this well established end of season party event, for those camping there’ll be live music on Friday & Saturday evenings from the ever-popular Hooker and The League of Mentalmen, plus, Pugma-Ho, Clutching at Straws, The Stones and our Bon Jovi tribute band, Bon Giovoni.

The BMF Tailend Show is a great end of season weekend – made even better for families because under 16’s (accompanied by a fee paying adult) go FREE - and that includes camping!
