BMF: Tail End Motorcycle Show Goes Large in Lincs

Sunday, 4 July 2010 12:00 AM

To mark the move of the bmf's popular end of season Tail End event to the stunning Lincolnshire Events Centre at the Lincolnshire Showground, the bmf are offering some very special prices* on advanced tickets, saving up to 25% in some cases!

"We want to introduce people to this exciting new venue, so what better way to do it than to offer some special introductory prices," said Martin Chick of the Mulberry Group, the bmf's event organisers.

After ten years at Peterborough's East of England Showground, Tail End gets a new home and a makeover, but doesn't lose any of the atmosphere that has made the event so popular for thousands of visitors - enhanced once again by the appearance of James Toseland and his band Crash headlining Saturday evening's entertainment.

Top class arena entertainment from the Bolddog Lings Stunt Team and amazing trick trials rider Steve Colley will keep the crowds happy while in a special area, cut and thrust racing from the British Lawnmower racing association will give a whole new meaning to the phrase cutting-edge technology!

Thanks to the bmf's insurance partners MCE, visitors will also have the chance to win a VIP experience at the BSB at Oulton Park including pit lane walks and a 'meet the teams' session

Norton and Kawasaki join the hundreds of Tail End's regular trade exhibitors already booked, while the ever-popular Wall of Death and a large fun fair ensure Tail End retains its end of season party feel. Keen Moto GP fans are catered for too with a giant screen showing all the action live from Saturday's qualifying and Sunday's Spanish round of Moto GP.

For those camping, ticket prices include live entertainment on Friday and Saturday evenings from bands such as Trash Monkey (back from a successful bmf May show appearance), the Femones, the League of Mentalmen, The Band from County Hell and Bad Penny with James Toseland and Crash headlining Saturday.

There's even a Free shuttle bus service from Lincoln city centre to the showground throughout the weekend and Lincs FM will be broadcasting live from the show on Saturday. As Martin Chick says, "This promises to be a great show and one that shouldn't be missed!"

Note1 : the ticket promotion is a strictly limited offer ending at midnight on Monday 30th August

Note 2:
The Lincolnshire Events Centre (www.lincs-events.co.uk ) is located on the main A15 just 2 miles north of Lincoln. Recently benefiting from a £7.8 million investment programme, the massive 205-acre site also offers over 3,000m² of indoor exhibition space in addition to the external exhibition areas.
