BASC: Wildlife habitat trust out in force at Midland game fair.

Visitors to the Midland Game Fair, who buy the new WHT 2007 Habitat Stamp, 'Gadwall on the Ouse Washes' by Barry Van Dusen, will receive a free Stamp Collectors' book and a glass of champagne.

The book has been produced to enable WHT stamp supporters keep their collection of Habitat Stamps safe, and provides spaces for 10 stamps, plus information on the stamp and its achievements.

Famous wildlife artists Julian Novorol and John Cox will be working on the WHT stand and there will be a number of original paintings for sale. Signed copies of Alan Jarrett's new wildfowling book "Wildfowling Tales" will also be on sale. Alan kindly donates a percentage of his sales to the WHT.

Diane McKenzie, from the WHT, said: "When you buy your stamp or any original artwork, prints or merchandise you'll get a free glass of bubbly, courtesy of Tanners Wines in Shrewsbury. As well as stamps, the WHT will also be selling related merchandise and Limited Edition prints, so come and visit us and enjoy our Art Exhibition. It's a good opportunity to start your Christmas shopping early!"

The fair is being held at Weston Park in Shropshire on 15-16 September.
