An influential committee of Northern Ireland politicians tried a Taste of Game thanks to the UK's largest shooting organisation, the British Association for Shooting and Conservation (BASC).
A new Chief Executive has been appointed to lead the UK's largest shooting organisation, the British Association for Shooting and Conservation (BASC). Richard Ali will join the BASC staff team in February 2013. After a planned handover period he will officially take over from John Swift as Chief Executive in March 2013. John Swift will continue to provide support and will also continue his work in the international field and on lead ammunition.
BASC has sent a letter to all local newspapers in the UK highlighting the benefits of game shooting and game meat. The letter informs readers that the pheasant shooting season is about to start and lists some of the advantages of game meat.
