Monday, 24 May 2010
12:00 AM
Young Shots in Hampshire are being invited to try out a range of activities at an event run by the UK's largest shooting organisation, the British Association for Shooting and Conservation (BASC).
They will get to try clay shooting, air rifle shooting and fly-fishing at the Young Shots Day near Andover on 2nd June.
Youngsters will also be able to learn about gamekeeping techniques and watch a gundog demonstration by Howard Kirby of Lains Shooting School in Hampshire. Places cost £15.
Jenni Thompson, BASC's regional officer for the South East, said: "There are still a few spaces available on the day near Andover and at just £15 it is an absolute bargain. The day will offer all Young Shot members and their friends a fantastic opportunity to try out a range of exciting activities."
For more information or to book, visit www.basc.org.uk to download a booking form or call the regional office on 01798 865165.
