BASC and York Guns will co-host an event with author and leading fox shooter Robert Bucknell to showcase the latest equipment for night shooting and night vision.
Officers from North Yorkshire Police's firearms licensing department will be on hand to offer help and advice on applications and renewals.
BASC Northern regional staff will be at the event, which will be held on 17th February from 6pm until 9pm at York Guns' premises at Dunnington, York.
Robert Bucknell will be there to meet visitors and to talk about night shooting and night vision equipment and some of the techniques he employs.
Visitors will be able to see York Guns' range of optical equipment and reloading products and the shop's stock of guns.
Chris Jenkins, BASC's Northern regional officer, said: "This specialist event should not be missed by rifle shooters who will find everything they might need for the 2012 season under one roof."
