Avenues appoints four new trustees

Avenues, the social care charity which supports people with complex or challenging needs to enjoy life, is delighted to announce the appointment of three new trustees to its board, and one new trustee to the board of its subsidiary, Southwark Home Care.

Liz Hewett is a self-employed consultant with a background in nursing and health care management, who now specialises in workplace performance and team development, having established Tendrow Management Solutions in May 2005.

Jenny Simmons is regional catering support manager for The National Trust and relative to someone supported by Avenues.

Ralph Wilkinson is head of public services in Lewisham, responsible for the performance and development of the council's customer services.

Sue Hall, appointed to the board of Southwark Home Care, is business development director with Jonathan Bailey Associates (a strategic healthcare design agency), responsible for identifying new business opportunities.
