Inaugural Autism Research Conference Wales, 9th November 2007 at the National Museum of Wales, Cardiff

Autism Cymru, Wales' national charity for autism, has joined forces with specialist autism research charity Autism Speaks to host the first conference dedicated entirely to autism research to take place in Wales.

This concentrated day will feature an array of respected and outstanding speakers from the research world including Professor Simon Baron-Cohen, Professor Anthony Bailey, Professor Anthony Monaco, Professor Martin Raff, Dr Dawn Wimpory, Professor Mark Johnson, Professor Declan Murphy, Lois Grayson, Professor Martin Knapp and Dame Stephanie Shirley - who will be discussing the latest in research developments ranging from genetics to biological differences to the economics of autism!

The conference fee will include refreshments and lunch. Delegates will also have the opportunity to put questions to our speaker panel.
