Stroke Association Manifesto 2005
For a world where there are fewer strokes and all those touched by stroke get the help they need.

We have written our manifesto in response to the lack of public awareness of stroke, the huge lack of investment in research and deficient levels of stroke care and services. It outlines the most urgent issues, many of which are currently absent from the political debate, that need immediate action.
The manifesto will be sent to re-standing MPs and all Prospective Parliamentary Candidates (PPCs). The manifesto will be resent to all successful MPs in May after the expected election.
The manifesto calls for action on four levels:
Prevention
Stroke as a medical emergency
In hospital
From hospital to community
