The SOE produces two leading journals – Plant Engineer and Transport Engineer, both of which provide up-to-date news and views of the latest technical information in their respective areas of engineering. Operations Engineer is produced for members of the SOE and is a people focussed publication which looks at those working within the field of engineering as well as offering news of the SOE’s activities.

As part of promoting best practice and improving safety standards in the engineering industry, the SOE has produced a series of technical guides. The guides are free for members to download (after login) or hard copies can be obtained for a minimal cost. Guides are also available for purchase by non-members and the free guides can be download after completing a short questionnaire. To purchase a guide, please contact the Technical Department (technical@soe.org.uk) or call 020 7630 1111.
