The Institution of Plant Engineers (IPlantE)

The Institution of Plant Engineers was founded in 1946 and is the professional sector for engineers, technicians and those with an interest in the specification, installation, operation and maintenance of industrial plant and services.

IPlantE publishes a highly-respected bi-monthly journal, Plant Engineer, which is a leading technical magazine for manufacturing, maintenance and safety plant engineering professionals.

Events are run across the UK on topics such as the ATEX and DSEAR regulations and health and safety in the workplace. These play an important role in helping to keep its members up-to-date with current legislation.

IPlantE members represent a huge range of engineering-related activities including static and rotating plant, industrial installation, mobile plant, power generation and distribution, utilities, system design, construction, production and maintenance and repair.
