PENSIONSFORCE

Tuesday, 02, Dec 2008 04:20

In January 2008, we conducted a Workplace Pensions Survey of 1,200 employees. This told us that employees' greatest fear is not having enough money to live on in retirement, that there is a considerable lack of knowledge about retirement provision and a hesitancy to do something about it.

The PENSIONSFORCE service is aimed at providing generic information to employees about saving and planning for retirement.

PENSIONFORCE is funded by the NAPF and the Department for Work and Pensions Pension Education Fund and the service is free-of-charge to all employers. An independent Pension Guide organises and delivers a 45-minute presentation that acts as a financial 'wake-up' call covering basic information about retirement and the importance of planning for the future.

Any employer wanting further information should contact Frances Corbett, PENSIONSFORCE Project Manager, 020 7808 1274, email frances.corbett@napf.co.uk or visit www.pensionsforce.co.uk
