Campaigns
We're campaigning to show getting older is good. Experience is more valuable than youth. Heyday's challenging ageism, stereotypes and forced retirement. Support our petition to the Government to change laws that can get you sacked at 65. We were in the High Court in December representing views from our members, our survey and our petition - to establish your right not to get a P45 on your 65th birthday. Heyday's a partnership between us and you. Let us know what concerns you (or just irritates you!) - we can take up the cause on your behalf.
Below are some of Heyday's current campaigns. For more information on these, and our other campaigns, please visit our

Heyday is promoting a new campaign launched by Age Concern, calling for older people to be provided with high quality care that meets their individual needs.
Official figures, published last week, have revealed that an increasing number of people who have reached pensionable age are continuing to work rather than retire.
