Welcome to the Publications and Leaflets area of the website. Some of the Care Council's publications were produced by CCETSW/TOPSS Cymru but the contents of these are still relevant and any reference to CCETSW should now be read as Care Council for Wales.

The Care Council for Wales, in its regulatory function, has inherited the Assuring Quality and External Assessment publications previously produced by CCETSW. The content of these publications are still relevant and apply to students, programmes and assessors.

The Care Council is also responsible for developing National Occupational Standards in partnership with Skills for Health for the care sector. Final versions of these will appear on these pages. In its Workforce Development role, the Care Council has and will produce a number of important publications for the sector such as the Qualification Framework for the Social Care Sector.

Copies of some of the publications can be obtained from our office or can be downloaded from this area of the site. Please refer to each separate entry to see if hard copies are available. The publications are free of charge unless a cost is specifically stated.
