CaSE is working to influence the Government's Comprehensive Spending Review later in the year. Our members have defined their priorities in three main areas - science in schools, funding science in the universities, and increasing levels of research and development in industry.

CaSE is working to ensure that science and engineering are given due prominence in the new Government after Gordon Brown becomes Prime Minister. We will be meeting the Treasury within the first three weeks of his premiership and are calling for a Ministry of Science
