Breast Cancer Care undertakes research to support the overall vision and mission of the organisation, which is to provide the highest standards of treatment, support and care through the provision of high quality, innovative and responsive services.

BABS Project

In July 2006, Breast Cancer Care in collaboration with Kings College London, was successful in achieving a Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) award from the Department of Trade and Industry.

Prosthesis fitting services

In 2005 Breast Cancer Care conducted a qualitative study of patient experiences of using NHS/private hospital breast prosthesis fitting services.

Living with secondary breast cancer

Little is known about the practical and emotional effects of living with secondary breast cancer or about the support needs of those people with it.
