BNTL Membership
BNTL has in the last year undertaken a major change in its’ Memorandum of Articles of Association regarding membership.
In light of the growing database of supporters of BNTL it was agreed at the Annual General Meeting in May 2004 that these supporters should be given more status.
As a result at an Extraordinary Meeting in November 2004 it was resolved that membership of BNTL will take two forms.
Full Membership
Those who have adopted an “alcohol and other drug free lifestyle”
These members complete an application form indicating they have undertaken to live a drug free lifestyle, this entitles them to full voting rights at the Annual General Meeting. This means they can vote for Board Members and any decisions regarding the Memorandum of Articles of Association and to receive all news information via Freeway Magazine.
Associate Membership
Those who are sympathetic to the principles of such a lifestyle, but feel unable to adopt it fully.
These members are entitled to attend the Annual General Meeting and vote on subjects such as the work we are doing, they however cannot vote for Board Members or any decisions regarding the Memorandum of Articles of Association. They to will receive all news information via the Freeway Magazine.
