Membership
Introduction
At present Action for Prisoners' Families has 75 organisations in full membership and a further 103 supporters. Most of these are either family support groups or prison visitors' centres but also include many penal reform organisations, statutory bodies and individuals. A central role of Action for Prisoners' Families is to strengthen the network of prisoners' families' services and help new services to develop.
Full membership is open to organisations who offer support directly to families of prisoners. We also have Supporter membership which is open to all individuals and organisations working with children and families, education and health professionals.
Mark Heybourne, Development Manager, works out of our Norwich office and provides a range of support services for our members. Rosemary Cooney is our Development Officer for the East Midlands region.
The Regional Office in Norwich is the base for APF membership services and administration. Please contact the regional office for information regarding setting up and operating a prisoners' family support service.
