Action for Prisoners' Families is a small independent charity, which relies heavily on grants and donations from charitable trusts and individuals. We receive no statutory funding for our core services, which are the key to improving the lives of children and families affected by the imprisonment of a loved one.

We value all donations and your support will help us to:

Provide information and support to families and organisations working with them

Improve the availability of support to prisoners' families

Educate the public and policy makers about the impact of imprisonment on the family

Campaign for the just treatment of prisoners' families by the prison system and society, improvements to prison visits and for the rights of children with a prisoner in the family
