Diabetes UK is the largest organisation in the UK working for people with diabetes. Our main activities includes funding research, campaigning and helping people living with the condition, their carers, family and friends. We represent the interests of people with diabetes by lobbying the government for better standards of care and the best quality of life. We are one of the largest patient organisations in Europe, with over 170,000 members.

Dogs Trust is the UK's largest dog welfare organisation. Every year we rehome thousands of dogs through our network of centres. We have 18 rehoming centres across the UK and Ireland.

The Dr Hadwen Trust for Humane Research (DHT) plays a leading role in funding and promoting the development of techniques and procedures to replace the use of animals in biomedical research and testing. Following a rigorous peer-reviewed selection procedure we support, assist and award grants to scientists in universities, hospitals and research organisations to undertake projects of the highest scientific calibre and the best potential for the replacement of animals.
