New Plaid Westminster team

Plaid Cymru's Westminster leader Elfyn Llwyd has confirmed his team's new Westminster positions.

But with only three seats in Parliament, there are few surprises.

Mr Llwyd retains responsibility for the most high portfolios of defence, foreign affairs and home affairs.

Hywel Williams takes on education, health, work and pensions, international development and culture media and sport.

Adam Price, best known for his attempts to impeach Tony Blair, will speak on the Treasury, trade and industry and transport.

Mr Llwyd said: "The Plaid Cymru team at Westminster is determined not to let Tony Blair or New Labour off the hook and we will be fighting Wales's corner at every opportunity. We have a strong team of MPs, with a combination of experience and expertise that will ensure the government has to address the issues that matter to people in Wales."
