Consultant: Govt needed report to act

Today's review of digital protection for children is the "ammunition" needed by the government to act, a computer games consultant believes.
Margaret Robertson told BBC Radio 5 Live's Wake Up To Money programme she believed the government has "not always done the best job of keeping up to speed" with the fast-changing video game industry.
"They have been on the receiving end of a lot of press speculation and tabloid hysteria on a number of issues raised in parliament suggesting there isn't the legislation in place that is needed to protect children," she suggested.
"So what they wanted was a report to give them ammunition to answer all those concerns."
