The MP Website Awards 2008
Do you know who your local MP is? Have you ever looked at their website? Do they
even have one? politics.co.uk wants to hear your views on how your MP communicates
with you and whether they do a good enough job.
So the search is on for the best MP websites of 2008.
The Rate Your MP's Website Awards, run by the British Computer Society (BCS) - the
leading body for IT and communications professionals - and supported by politics.co.uk,
are in their second year and recognise the contribution the internet now plays in
parliamentary communication and engagement with voters.
This is your chance to tell your MP how good, bad or even boring, their own site
is, and if he or she deserves to be recognised for embracing new technologies.
If you think your MP's website deserves to win an award, we'd like to hear why,
complete this form and tell us what
you like about the website and how you find it useful.
The awards ceremony will be held on Novermber 19th at the House of Commons and we'll
let you know who the winners were and why they won afterwards. In the meantime we
want your views so go and check out your local MP's site now!!
