St Paul's occupation

The Occupy London protest outside St Paul's is being presented with a legal eviction notice today.

The order brings the City of London directly into conflict with the camp, while St Paul's reels from a series of resignations.

Right Reverend Graeme Knowles, who lobbied for a tougher stance against demonstrators, resigned yesterday, following criticism of his approach both from within and outside the Anglican community.

The ensuing statement from the Archbishop of Canterbury suggested there was support for the protestors from the height of the Anglican Church.
