British unemployment

New UK unemployment figures reveal a 128,000 rise in the number of people out of work in the three months to October.
It now stands at 2.64 million, the highest level since 1994.
The number of people claiming jobseekers allowance now stands at 1.6 million, up 3,000 since the last figures.
The Office of National Statistics figures also showed youth unemployment at the highest level since records began, with 1.027 million young people out of work.
