Ban on poppies
09/11/2011
Fifa is refusing to budge on England players wearing a poppy during football matches this weekend.
The world football body said it would allow the poppy to be stitched onto equipment bags, black armbands to be worn and a minute's silence to be held.
The prime minister and the sports minister have both complained about the decision but the body is unlikely to budge.
Remebrance day takes place on Sunday.
