Abstinence education

Teenage girls should be taught to "just say no" to sex, a Conservative MP has said.
Nadine Dorries introduced a ten-minute rule bill that called for schools to teach abstinence in sex education classes.
The bill passed its first hurdle yesterday when MPs voted 67 to 61 to allow the bill to move to second reading, but it is unlikely to progress any further without government support.
Labour MP Chris Bryant, who spoke against the bill, described it as the "daftest piece of legislation that I have seen brought forward".
