Hargreaves Lansdown: General market mood is to prepare for the worst

Richard Hunter, head of UK equities at Hargreaves Lansdown, warns the Guardian that he does not think an improvement today is likely:

"Investors are pessimistic at the moment, the general market mood is to try to prepare for the worst.

"It's difficult to see anything positive coming from the data today unless they reveal absolutely barnstorming figures."
